why you feel so better off
when you think no one is worse off than you?
then take a walk down poverty lane fellas,
and witness the starving children with no where to go,
no mommy to hold.
The world produces enough food to feed everyone,
of course if it distributed equally.
There is an abundance of food.
In fact, in Indonesia, every day in every city,
far more edible food is discarded than is needed to feed those who do not have enough to eat.
Yet there is plenty of food in the world for everyone.
The problem is that hungry people are trapped in severe poverty.
They lack the money to buy enough food to nourish themselves.
Being constantly malnourished, they become weaker and often sick.
This makes them increasingly less able to work, which then makes them even poorer and hungrier. This downward spiral often continues until death for them and their families.
There is enough food in the world to feed everyone,
but too much of it goes to waste needlessly,
as a direct result of capitalism and militarism.
If governments and corporations around the world spent as much money, time, and energy on feeding people as they do on spend much money on politics campaign,
then no one would go hungry.
so, who has need to be blame?
yes definitely, the government and the corporate system..
